Conduct a Practice Ride
Once the planning is complete, gather the group for a practice ride (e.g. on a Sunday). Whether you are using a messaging app or prefer printouts, make sure you share the following information:
- Map of the route, including designated stops where students will be picked-up, if applicable.
- Schedule, including information about inclement weather plans and procedures for reporting absences.
- Contact information for bike bus leaders and riders, including emergency contact information (this will be easy if you are using a messaging app).
- Bike bus ground rules.
